Working in partnership with The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS
Northumbria University, has been awarded a contract to become one of five national NMC Competence Test Centres. The NMC Test of Competence enables professionals to demonstrate to assessors that they have the skills and knowledge to care for people safely and effectively.
By working closely with the University project team, Synergy developed a signage scheme that ensures medical professionals are able to navigate from their point of arrival to the test centre.
The signage scheme consists of:
- External wall wayfinding signs and post mounted signs,
- Pavement graphics.
- Wall mounted building identification signs.
- Internal naming signs.
- Recycled Slatz signs (the text was removed from existing panels and next text applied).
- High quality one piece digitally printed wallpaper (some pieces were 4m long)., internal building directories, suspended
The scheme continues to receive positive feedback from the many foreign nationals, who attended the assessment sessions, many of whom had never visited Newcastle before.
